Movies at the Beach 2025

Movies at the Beach returns to Hermosa Beach for two Saturdays of free sunset films on the sand, just south of the Hermosa Beach Pier. On September 6, enjoy the family favorite Lilo & Stitch, followed by the hit musical Mamma Mia! on September 13. The event begins at 7 p.m., with movies starting at sundown around 7:45 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, low-back beach chairs, and plenty of friends for a cozy night under the stars.

Presented by Friends of the Parks in partnership with the City of Hermosa Beach, Movies at the Beach is the fifth annual seaside film series, continuing the tradition of the long-running Movies in the Park. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated to help keep these community events going.
