There’s nothing quite like the thrill of spending a summer evening outside listening to live music while enjoying a picnic. While the Hollywood Bowl is always a must-do, Los Angeles is bursting with free outdoor summer concerts that are perfect for a night out with the kids.

Manhattan Village Summer Concerts In The Plaza
Thursdays, June 23 – Aug. 25, 6 – 8 p.m.
Summer concerts have returned to Manhattan Village. From June 23 through August 25, join us in The Plaza for a fun night out every Thursday from 6-8pm. Grab a bite to eat before the show or dine al fresco on The Plaza with your favorite MV restaurants. It’s a good idea to bring your own beach blankets and chairs.

Manhattan Beach Summer Concerts in the Park 2022 Presented by Chevron
Sundays, July 3 – Sep. 4, 5 – 7 p.m.
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and lunches, then relax and enjoy the summer music at Polliwog Park. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Concerts in the Park are free and popular, so get there early to get a good spot on the lawn. Pets must be left at home when attending a concert. To reduce visibility concerns behind you, sit in low-backed seats. Please do not obstruct the aisles and be considerate of others.
There is no smoking allowed in the park. Keep an eye on your kids and keep them away from the stage and the apron. It is not authorized to climb the trees in the park. Place your rubbish in one of the park’s dumpsters. The park does not allow pets, barbecues, skateboards, scooters, or roller blades.
Unattended chairs, blankets, and other picnic goods are not the responsibility of the concert staff or security. Please don’t take anything that doesn’t belong to you (chairs, blankets, etc.).

El Segundo Summer Concerts
Sounds of Summer Concert Series at The Point
Wednesdays, July – Sep., 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
The Point welcomes you to the Sounds of Summer, a family friendly music series happening every Wednesday from 6pm – 8pm, July through September. Every week features a new musician / band with tunes ranging from folk rock to reggae. Bring the whole family and invite some friends for the perfect summertime, mid-week fun! #GetToThePoint
Library Park, El Segundo Concerts in the Park
Sundays, June 19 – Aug. 7, 4 – 7 p.m.
The El Segundo Concerts in the Park starts at 4:30pm in Library Park with food trucks lining up at 4:00pm June 19th through August 7th. Bring an appetite and get ready to get your groove on! Kids crafts, games, and giveaways will be available in the Gazebo starting at 4:00pm.

Seaside Concerts at Shoreline Village 2022

Shoreline Village’s free summer concerts are a great way to celebrate the arrival of summer!
Starting Memorial Day weekend and through Labor Day weekend, there will be free live music on various Sundays and Holidays from 1-5 p.m. They’ve secured some of the greatest performers in the area. Come out for some excellent music and awe-inspiring vistas!
Westside Summer Concerts
Marina del Rey Summer Concert Series at Burton Chace Park
Select Thursdays and Saturdays, July 14 – Aug. 13, 7 – 9 p.m.
Whether you prefer classical or pop, the Marina free outdoor concerts offer it all. If the relaxing sounds of classical tunes are up your alley, then head to Burton Chace on Thursday nights. If you prefer to get up and dance then Saturdays are sure to get you moving with the pop series. Either way, pack a blanket and picnic and prepare for an awesome show by the water. Make sure to bring jackets, it can get chilly.
Skirball Sunset Concerts
Thursdays, July 21 – Aug. 25, 8 p.m.
The Sunset Concert series returns for its 25th year of showcasing eclectic, world music. This year’s line-up includes the Mediterranean sounds of Mamak Khadem and South Korean pop ensemble ADG7, among others. The concerts are free, but they do require advance reservations.
Off the 405, Getty Center
Saturdays, June 8 – Aug. 27, 6 – 9 p.m.
Take in the beauty of the Getty center architecture while listening to some awesome sounds. Line up includes an eclectic mix of emerging artists, with an opening DJ set followed by the main act. The concerts are free but advance ticket reservations are required.
Summer Music Series at the Farmer’s Market
Thursdays, June 9 – Aug. 25, 6 – 8 p.m.
Grab a bite to eat at the famous Farmer’s Market and enjoy a free concert on the West Patio while you eat. Bands include a variety of music genres including jazz, reggae, swing, and more.
Valley Summer Concerts
NoHo Summer Nights
Saturdays, July 23 – Aug. 13, 7 – 9:30 p.m.
Local acts warm up the crowd at North Hollywood Park and are followed by headlining groups which include the Delgado Brothers, a tribute to Carole King, and more.
Warner Center Park
Sundays, June 19 through Aug. 28, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Once again the free concert series at Warner Park hosted by the Valley Cultural Foundation is back. This year’s line up includes emerging artists as well as the classic tribute bands, like Led Zepagain. And of course the 4th of July Extravaganza hosted by Bob Blumenfield.
Food trucks will be on site, but concert-goers are welcome to pack their own picnics to bring along.
Sunset Concert Series at Calabasas Lake
Sundays, June 12, July 17, Aug. 7, and Aug. 28, 6 p.m.
Pack a picnic and a blanket and grab a spot by the beautiful lake to enjoy the show. This year’s line up includes DSB (Journey tribute), Bruno and the Hooligans (Bruno Mars Live Experience), The Spazmatics (80’s sounds) and Surf City All Stars (surf music).
Glendale Summer Concerts in the Park
Wednesdays, July 6- Aug. 10, 7 – 9:00 p.m.
Spend a cool summer evening in the park with some family-friendly tunes. Bring picnics, blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the show. This year’s line-up includes Vaughn Suponatime (Tribute to Frank Sinatra), Blasphemous Rumours (Depeche Mode Tribute Band), Breakfast Club (80’s sounds), and more!
