The LA Rams Are Bringing the NFL to Hermosa Beach
The LA Rams invite you to experience the thrill of NFL action with an ocean-side view. The football franchise is hosting the inaugural Rams Draft Experience, presented by SoFi, right on the sand next to the Hermosa Beach Pier.

LA Rams Draft Experience
On Thursday and Friday, April 25-26, football fans can experience the excitement of stepping onto an arena-sized replica of SoFi Stadium’s football field– right on the beach. The 60-yard field is an arena football-sized field composed of artificial turf. The field is situated south of the Hermosa Beach Pier between 10th and 11th streets.
The two-day, family-friendly event is free for all. LA Rams personnel will be on hand to offer the public “skills and drills” stations. The event will also include the opportunity to watch live as the Rams participate in the first three rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft.
“This family-friendly event will showcase Hermosa Beach, celebrate the bond between sports and our region, and encourage participation in youth sports for children from all walks of life,” Hermosa Beach Mayor Justin Massey said in a press release.
Even More Football Fun
Besides the NFL Draft day events and the football field drills, fans are invited to check out more activities around Pier Plaza, Schumacher Plaza and the area south of the pier. You can experience face painting and button making, as well as meet-and-greets with Rams cheerleaders and the Mariachi Rams. DJs will be playing live music and a special surprise musical guest has been teased for Thursday evening. The event will also feature appearances by current and former LA Rams players.
The excitement will continue throughout the following week for South Bay youth. The field will be open for private clinics for youth organizations, such as local schools and Boys & Girls Clubs until May 2.
Event Details
Live music and appearances are scheduled to begin at 4pm on April 25 and 3:30pm on April 26. Parking will be extremely limited. There will be bike corrals available as well as a bike valet on the beach near 10th street.
