Tell us about Amanda Coggin Skincare?

After initially pursuing a different career path, I realized I needed to follow my passion for skincare and wellness! Becoming an esthetician has led to a rewarding career where I get to work hands-on making people look and feel their best. I am passionate about performance ingredients and advanced treatments and technologies to offer best results for my clients skin. I’ve been in this profession for over 10 years, and with each passing year I learn more and continue to love what I do! I joined with Montage Boutique Spa in Manhattan Beach 5 years ago and have never been happier!

What inspired you to launch Amanda Coggin Skincare?

When I was a young teenager you could find me steaming my pores over a pot of hot water, or concocting face masks from ingredients found in the fridge. So I guess you could say that I’ve always been an esthetician at heart! When I realized that I could follow my own inquisitive, scientific spirit and apply it to helping others in my treatment room, this business was born! Now with advanced training, techniques, tools and over a decade of experience I’m even more excited than ever to be in this business.

What is one of your proudest moments?

So many! I pride myself on providing rejuvenating treatments that not only improve the integrity of the skin, but are deeply healing and relaxing for both body and soul. When I can make my clients feel refreshed, confident and truly cared for, then I know I’ve done my job. Additionally, I’m proud of the work I’ve done to help my clients achieve certain goals. Whether it be concerns with acne, hyperpigmentation or just better overall skin health, I’m honored to be able to make people feel better facing the world in their own skin!

What can one expect when booking a service with Amanda Coggin Skincare?

First, a warm welcome! I want everyone who comes through the door to feel like they can relax and feel comfortable in my treatment room and throughout the spa. I take the time to listen to my clients’ concerns and customize a treatment protocol that’s perfect for them. Building trust is very important to me and I want clients to know that they can always ask questions or share feedback. This ensures I can maximize their experience and results. Plus Montage is such a warm, welcoming atmosphere with free and convenient parking (a rarity) that takes the guesswork of where to go for top-notch spa service!

Tell us a little about you:

While I live in what I like to call South Bay adjacent, the South Bay is close to my heart for many reasons: Wonderful community, great food and the most beautiful stretch of beach in SoCal! I’m a mom to an elementary schooler (and a dog mom) and can’t stress enough the importance of self-care for parents. We can’t pour from an empty cup! When I’m not working I like to cook and bake, spend time with my family and enjoy the beauty of all SoCal has to offer.
