Redondo Beach Mommy and Me Classes

They bring together mothers of babies of comparable ages to bond over their common experiences in a judgement-free environment. Their trained and experienced facilitator guides the conversation and offers research-based information and techniques for dealing with any challenges that occur. Sleep (and how to function when you don’t get enough), feeding, self-care, negotiating relationships, as well as examining your new identity as a “mother” and learning coping techniques like self-compassion are all common topics. According to research, the information, methods, and attitudes developed in these early months have far-reaching consequences throughout childhood and adolescence.

During this fun event, the Tiny Tykes and their parents will be guided through a variety of stretches, exercises, infant songs and dances, baby-safe rides and excursions, balance and agility abilities, and introductory tumbling. As these Tiny Tykes discover their inherent skills and improve their physical and cognitive development, a relationship with movement and physical activity begins to form.
Students aged 6 months to 36 months can enroll in Baby & Me sessions. Depending on demand, classes are offered at various times throughout the day. Depending on the location, the maximum class size ranges from 5 to 8 pupils.
This is the foundational Music Together class, which a kid can attend from birth to five years old and participate in all nine song collections. This 45-minute program follows child development experts’ advice by putting children of all ages together to promote natural, family-style learning. Younger children like watching and imitating older children; older children learn by leading younger ones; and adults are pleased that all of their children can attend school together. Singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, and exploring musical instruments are all activities in which each kid engages at his or her own level. The children can be brought by any caregiver—parents, grandparents, or a nanny. This crucial family music experience is open to the entire family.
Topics are skillfully timed to correspond to your child’s developmental stage, allowing you to appreciate both your child’s growth and your own as a mother. Each class includes age-appropriate developmental activities that allow your child to experiment with tummy time, rolling, crawling, cruising, walking, social interactions, and much more. For both you and your kid, our facility has been created to be a safe, comforting, and caring environment.
