Lace up your sneakers and join the game day action at the 46th Annual Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday Race. The whole family can get in on the action with a 10K, 5K, Baby Buggy 10K, 5K Stroller Walk, and Kids 1K Fun Run! Organized and founded by the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce, you can’t beat this fun family event for outdoor fitness with a gorgeous ocean view.

2024 Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday Race

This action-packed, family-friendly event is back for 2024 with events for all ages, including the most popular race for families: the 10K Baby Buggy Run that invites the entire family to run together. New this year is the addition of the 5K Stroller Walk for those families with young kids who want to participate in the 5K.

The course begins and ends at the Seaside Lagoon, with a beautiful beachside view along the way. The fun kicks off with a Costume Contest at 7am. The races are followed by Awards Ceremonies at 9:30am and 10am. Participants can also enjoy post-race snacks and music.

All runners receive an Official 2024 Super Bowl Sunday Race Premium Long Sleeve Shirt, Limited Edition 2024 Finisher Medal, and Sponsored Swag Bag.

The race events include:

1K Kids Fun Run (12 and under) – 7am

10K Run (all ages) – 7:30am

10K Baby Buggy Run (all ages) – 8:15am

5K Run/ Walk (all ages) – 8:30am

5K Stroller Walk (all ages) – 8:45am

Costume Contest

The 2024 Costume Contest theme is Fantasy Football! What better way to gear up for Super Bowl Sunday than by dressing up in the most elaborate and exciting costume you can think of to fit the game-day-inspired theme?

Awards will be given in various categories, including Best Kids Costume, Best Individual, and Best Small and Large Groups. Adult prizes include gift cards, and the kid’s grand prize is a brand-new bicycle!

Health & Fitness Expo 2024

Make a whole weekend of it and enjoy the fun at the 2-Day Health & Fitness Expo.

On Saturday, February 10, 2024, you can pick up your Race Bib, T-shirt, and Goodie Bag and explore a variety of running accessories and more at the health expo from 10am – 4pm. There will be tons of activities for the kids to participate in. The fun continues on race day from 6am to 11am.

Registration and Details

The Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday Race takes place on February 11, 2024. Registration is open online, or you can register on-site before the event starts at 6am. Registration fees range from $30 – $55, depending on the race.

Parking is available at various sites nearby. Please note street closures will begin at 5am. It’s recommended to arrive an hour before the race to ensure time to park and check in.

New for 2024 is the Tailgate Party on Saturday, February 10! Join in the festivities featuring the famous In-N-Out Burger Truck and live music.
