This super talented duo, featuring brothers Bradley (14) on guitar/vocals, and Bowie (11) on keyboard/vocals, started playing music 4 years ago on āthe first day of schoolā down at Santa Monica Beach and the Third Street Promenade, turning their tips into donations for various charities. Last April, they were interviewed on The Kelly Clarkson Show (NBC/Universal), where Kelly surprised the boys by bringing out legendary platinum selling artists The Backstreet Boys, who donated $25K to their causes! Our Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPSTs) will help answer questions about California law vs. Best Practice, when kids can move into a booster seat, and “the 5-step” test to determine if kids are ready for a seat belt only.
Oceanographic Teaching Stations Inc., Roundhouse Aquarium Teaching Center
In 1979, the Oceanographic Teaching Stations, Inc. (OTS) was established by six dedicated individuals with a shared passion for promoting the study of Southern California’s oceans, tidelands, and beaches. OTS obtained the rights to transform a dilapidated building at the Manhattan Beach pier into a marine science education center. With the invaluable assistance of local volunteers and generous funding from TRW and Arco, the precursor to the Roundhouse Marine Studies was brought to life. By 1982, it was officially open to students in Los Angeles County. Throughout the 1980s, the Roundhouse Aquarium flourished, catering to 110 classes annually, showcasing the tremendous growth in its educational initiatives.
