Tammies Muffins
LA baked goods. Available for local delivery and at farmers markets. With the knowledge she learned over the years working as a pastry chef, Tammie created her world famous muffins in a little kitchen at her home in Redondo Beach.
After such great reviews from family and friends she began selling her muffins and many other pastries to coffee shops and restaurants all over the South Bay. Working in a friends small restaurant kitchen, Tammie awoke each morning and began baking there before the restaurant opened, then spent the day running all over delivering her goodies. With time, Tammie grew wonderful relationships with her customers. One in particular was the two elderly brothers who owned Jitters Coffee Bar in Torrance. After the passing of one of the brothers, one brother felt it was too much and offered the 800 square foot store to Tammie. She gladly accepted and opened up her doors keeping the Jitters name. After a few years of success and word about her great muffins and pastries, Tammie decided to create a breakfast menu with a few omelets and crepes. The South Bay loved it!

Kirari West Bake Shop
“Kirari West” is a family owned bake shop that originated in Japan. Yoshi Saito (The Father) and Yoichi Saito (The Older Brother) came up with the concept of creating delicious pastries with locally grown quality rice flour instead of wheat. In 2011, the Saito family opened the first store, “Kirari” in the City of Fukushima. Kirari became the first and only store in the region to carry exclusively non-wheat pastries.

5000 Pies is a social enterprise of Fountain of Life Covenant Church. Our mission is to transform the lives of young adults in West Long Beach through culinary employment and life skills coaching.
We are defining hand-crafted, Long Beach-style deep dish pizza and sweet pies. The pies are made 100% from scratch using fresh, seasonal, quality ingredients. A lot of love and care goes into each pie. We like to think that they may be the best pies you’ve ever tasted.

Established in 1968,the first Polly’s was opened in Fullerton. The name Polly was chosen, in part, because the front doors of the restaurant had handles shaped like the letter “P,” and we wanted to use those handles. Eddie’s wife suggested the name “Polly’s” in honor of Polly Martin, who was the newborn daughter of the restaurant’s first manager.
Later we adopted the name Polly’s Tasty Foods and Pies, then Polly’s Bakery Cafe, and currently we are known as Polly’s Pies Restaurant. But our guests often just call us Polly’s or Polly’s Pies.
