Southbay’s family-run pumpkin patch is coming to Del Amo Fashion Center. Acres of homegrown pumpkins, a corn maze, and warm cider under the autumn sun. Besides pick-your-own-pumpkins, you’ll enjoy bounce houses, giant slides, a petting zoo and more!

South Bay Galleria Pumpkin Patch (Acosta Pumpkin Patch) – Redondo Beach (Now – October 31)
If you’ve lived in the South Bay for a while, you know the Galleria pumpkin patch is a fall tradition. Acosta Pumpkin Patch sets up at the corner of Artesia Boulevard and Kingsdale Avenue every October, and it’s one of the easiest patches to hit on a weeknight after school. Kids can ride the trackless train, paint their own pumpkins, play in the mobile video game trailers, and burn off energy in the jumps and slides while you pick out the perfect jack-o’-lantern. The rows of pumpkins make a great backdrop for fall family photos, too.

Debbie and Jeff’s Pumpkin Patch – Redondo Beach (Dates TBD)
This popular pumpkin patch has served the South Bay for over 30 years. Come for the pumpkins and stay for the bounce houses and photo ops. And don’t forget to return for a Christmas tree when the lot transforms into Debbie and Jeff’s Christmas Trees for the holidays.

Pumpkin Patches Near Gardena
Gardena doesn’t have its own pumpkin patch lot this year, but several of the South Bay’s best are just a short drive away. Jack O’ Lanterns Pumpkins on Prairie Avenue in north Torrance is the closest, with a petting zoo, pumpkin bowling, and a Pumpkin Smash. The South Bay Galleria Pumpkin Patch at Artesia and Kingsdale in Redondo Beach is another easy option, and families heading south can make a day of it at Mr. Jones Farm on Pacific Coast Highway in Torrance.

Deluca Farm – San Pedro (October 3 – Halloween week)
Deluca is known for its incredible Christmas trees, but the farm is also open throughout the month of October for pumpkins. In addition to a wide assortment of bright orange gourds, you’ll also enjoy bounce houses, farm animals, tractor rides, games and activities, and a festive photo booth.

The Del Amo patch opens October 1, Jack O’ Lanterns opens October 2, and Deluca Farm in San Pedro opens October 3. Most stay open through Halloween, and Jack O’ Lanterns runs through November 1.

Best Pumpkin Patches in Los Angeles
Underwood Family Farms – Moorpark (Sep. 26 ā Oct. 31)
Nothing really beats Underwood Farms when it comes to fall festivals. This fall, you’ll find everything imaginable at one of the best places to visit, including pig races, live music, a petting zoo, and tractor rides. The full Underwood Fall Harvest experience takes place each weekend through the month of October with special themed weekends, like antique tractors and the Wild West. Visitors can also enjoy amusement rides, games, picture opportunities, live entertainment bands, and more. The Animal Show, Harvester slide, pumpkin house, corn stalk maze, and more will all return.
If you’re looking for a less crowded experience for pumpkin picking, you can also visit the farm during the week. In addition to the larger pumpkin fields, Underwood has a section of pick your own pumpkin off the vine for sugar pumpkins. Perfect for making pumpkin pie!
Tickets for weekend access are ONLY available online. Tickets ARE NOT available online for weekday entrance and are only sold at the gate. Please have your tickets available on your phone or bring them when you enter. Children UNDER 2 are FREE, as is parking.

This family-owned farm in the heart of the San Fernando Valley is small but mighty, offering tons to do in addition to finding the perfect pumpkin. Young kids will love the petting zoo, train ride, and pony rides, while older kids will love the challenge of trying to make their way through the corn maze. The farm has free admission and free parking, with paid tickets required for the rides and activities.

Tina’s Pumpkin Patch – Sherman Oaks (Oct. 1 – Nov. 1)
This pumpkin patch in the Westfield Fashion Square parking lot is open daily and features many fun activities, including a petting zoo, pony rides, train rides, obstacle course, slide, and free straw maze. The patch is also available to book for school groups and birthday parties. The fun doesn’t stop there; you can still visit Tina’s for Christmas Trees once Halloween ends.

Shawn’s Pumpkin Patch offers a large variety of pumpkins and plenty of family fun. If you can convince your kids to pause for a moment, you can capture some fantastic family photos against a beautiful backdrop. The pumpkins are reasonably priced, and the best part is that admission is free. Keep in mind that this patch is very popular, making weekdays the best time to visit if you want to enjoy it without the massive crowds.

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch – Culver City (Oct. 2 – 31)
Founded over 30 years ago, Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch is a family-owned and operated business that focuses on bringing the farm to the city. The patch features bounce houses, a pony ride, a petting zoo, and a giant pumpkin patch. Kiddos can also enjoy face painting, pumpkin decorating, slides, and more. There are many options for cute backdrops for the kids or the whole family for fall pics.
Admission prices and hours fluctuate depending on the day of the week and the date’s proximity to Halloween.

Lopez Ranch Pumpkins – Marina del Rey (TBA)
If you want to visit a family-run, local pumpkin patch that’s a little more low-key, then Lopez Ranch is the place to be. This traditional, quaint neighborhood pumpkin patch is perfect for photo ops and offers free admission. In addition to pumpkins, straw bales, and corn stalks, the patch has a play area for young kids with a straw tunnel and a giant pumpkin to climb on and slide down.

Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch – Irvine (Sep. 12 – Oct. 31)
The Pumpkin Patch at Irvine Park Railroad in Orange County is enjoyable for the whole family. Come out and take advantage of the numerous kid-friendly activities. The massive patch offers train and hay wagon rides, bouncy houses, face painters, pumpkin ring throws, tasty cuisine, and more for a fee. There are also several free activities for all visitors, including a haunted house, hay maze, and photo ops. Admission to the pumpkin patch, located right behind the train station, is free. However, the County of Orange charges a park entrance fee per vehicle.

Tanaka Farms is the place to go if you want to choose your pumpkin directly from the patch!
