Two Harbors Annual Independence Day Celebration

The Two Harbors Annual Independence Day Celebration returns to Catalina Island’s Isthmus Cove for a full day of patriotic family fun, capped by a fireworks spectacular over the water beginning around 9 PM. The day includes the Annual Children’s Festival in Buffalo Park with arts and crafts and activities for kids of all ages, an Annual Dinghy Parade along the Two Harbors shoreline with prizes for the most creatively decorated boats, and the signature fireworks show over Isthmus Cove. Guests can grab food and drinks at Harbor Reef Restaurant before the show. Visitors traveling from Avalon have two transport options: the Cyclone power boat departing from the Green Pier at 6 PM and returning after the Grand Finale, or the Two Harbors Fireworks Bus, which travels through the island’s interior to Two Harbors. It’s one of the most unique ways to celebrate Independence Day in the greater Los Angeles area.
