It’s Butterfly Season at Kidspace Children’s Museum in Pasadena
Painted Lady butterflies pass through Southern California on a migratory journey that can cover hundreds of miles. By protecting and releasing these beautiful butterflies, you support pollinators that are critical to a balanced ecosystem.
For 25 years Kidspace has celebrated the amazing lifecycle of butterflies with music, art, and science. They’re kicking off Butterfly Season with their traditional caterpillar sale this week. You can join in the fun and explore the world of butterflies at home with your family. Adopt your own caterpillar and share its journey of metamorphosis with your little citizen scientists. In just a couple of weeks, you’ll have raised a beautiful Painted Lady butterfly at home. Caterpillars and butterfly kits start at just $6.
Let’s explore the world of butterflies together.
