The Downtown Torrance Association (DTA)’s 10th annual Scaredown in Downtown Torrance is ready to rise from the dead and bring the community another year of howling good fun! Torrance Pumpkin Patch – Del Amo Fashion Center 

This family-run pumpkin patch returns to Del Amo Fashion Center this fall, with acres of homegrown pumpkins, a corn maze, and warm cider under the autumn sun. Look for it in the parking lot near Macy’s Men’s, open daily from October 1 through October 31. Kids can pick their own pumpkin, bounce in the inflatables, take on the giant slides, and visit the petting zoo. Hours run Monday through Friday from 12 to 10 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 10 PM. Everything your fall tradition needs, all in one patch.

Halloween Trick or Treat – Riviera Village

The Riviera Village Halloween Trick-or-Treat event has become a beloved tradition in South Bay, drawing thousands of children each year to celebrate a family-friendly Halloween in a safe, fun, outdoor setting. Catalina Avenue is closed to traffic from Avenue I to S Elena St, allowing shops to distribute candy and treats in the open air. Visitors can also enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants in the Village. HVPTO’s spookiest (and most fun-filled) FUNraiser of the year!

Pumpkins in the Park

Join us for family-friendly fun at Edith Rodaway Friendship Park, located on Prospect Avenue and Hollowell! Come in costume and participate in the costume parade. Enjoy selecting and decorating your own pumpkin to take home. There will be games, crafts, face painting, delicious hot dogs, popcorn, and more!

This event runs from 11 AM to 1 PM and supports the HB Friends of the Parks non-profit foundation, which is dedicated to enhancing, preserving, and promoting parks and recreation programs in Hermosa Beach. Don’t miss out on the fun!

The Forgotten Circus

The circus was forgotten for a reason. This October, Not Shockboxx transforms into The Forgotten Circus, a highly produced haunted art experience filled with immersive installations, sinister performers, and a twisted gallery maze built to pull you deeper into a big top that should have stayed buried.

Beyond the entrance, the remnants of an old circus wait in the dark. Faded music drifts through the air, shadows move behind threadbare curtains, and forgotten performers linger where the spotlight once found them. If you find your way out of the maze, the evening continues next door inside The Studio, where games, strange diversions, and other sideshow fun await.

Purchase tickets for the hour you want (some sunlight or full darkness). Ticket holders may arrive anytime during that window on the Friday they purchased and enter the walk-through experience. Children are welcome, but all guests age 15 and younger must be supervised by a parent or guardian, and parents are responsible for deciding whether the experience is appropriate for their kids. The Forgotten Circus makes its final appearance at a separately listed Halloween party on October 31.

Halloween season hits the big screen at Old Town Music Hall! Throughout October, catch Halloween movies in a vintage movie theatre filled with haunted decor and classic movie vibes. The October lineup mixes silent-era chills with fun horror favorites, bringing a century of Halloween moviegoing into one historic theatre.

Every show starts with a 1925 Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ, and silent films feature live organ accompaniment. It’s the perfect sound for spooky season, and it’s just minutes from LAX.

Dogtoberfest at South Coast Botanic Gardens 

Experience the perfect blend of a beer festival and a dog parade at Dogtoberfest, hosted by the South Coast Botanic Garden! The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor 

Step aboard the haunted Queen Mary for this frightfully fun annual Halloween event. Dark Harbor features haunted mazes, terrifying characters, and immersive horror experiences throughout the historic ship.

For thrill-seekers ready for a chilling Halloween experience. These events cover a variety of themes, from whimsical family fun to intense haunted attractions.

Shoreline Village’s Annual Long Beach Zombie Walk + Halloween Party

Shoreline Village’s annual Long Beach Zombie Walk and Halloween Party returns Saturday, October 17, 2026. This is a free community event, and no tickets are required. Attendees are the zombies, so guests are encouraged to come dressed in zombie makeup and join the Zombie Walk. Guests can RSVP on the event page by selecting interested or going for updates.

Paid parking will be limited and is expected to sell out, so carpooling, rideshare, or another form of transportation is recommended. The event will be scary, with costumes and people surprising and scaring others, so organizers ask that guests not bring infants or dogs that can get scared.

The Haunting at The Ordinarie

This Halloween, The Haunting comes to The Ordinarie, a delightfully dark cocktail pop-up from the same team behind their Christmas Miracle experience. Expect an all-new lineup of spooky cocktails served in collectible signature mugs, vintage Halloween oddities, and plenty of eerie surprises throughout the bar. The team decorates every corner themselves, and this year is bigger, stranger, and spookier than ever.

Lunch and dinner are served daily, with classic comfort food and a few spooky Halloween twists. Reservations are available from 11:30 AM to 4 PM on the website. After 4 PM, seating is walk-in only, and lines can get long Thursday through Sunday nights, so come early. Tables have time limits, and the largest group that can be seated together is 6.

Children are welcome until 9 PM and there is a kid’s food menu, but this is an adult-themed cocktail pop-up, so some decor may not be suitable for kids, and drinks may not be served in Halloween mugs. A Halloween party with a cover and best costume prizes takes place on October 31. Free 90 minute parking is available in Lot C on Third Street.
