The Descanso Gardens will be filled with pumpkin-filled family fun this Halloween season! The Descanso Gardens is excited to announce the upcoming event, CARVED. Descanso Gardens’ unique take on Halloween, Carved, will return on October 11-31, 2021, featuring exciting new displays and experiences.

“CARVED” Brings Pumpkin-Filled Family Fun to Descanso Gardens

Carved is a family-friendly event that will take place in Descanso Gardens for three weeks. Thousands of carved pumpkins will line the 1 mile walk through Camellia Forest and Oak Grove. Along with pumpkins, there will be exciting new oversized sculptures made of sticks and other natural materials. Carved will set an “harvest festival” ambiance at the Descanso Gardens with pumpkin carving demonstrations, a hay maze, and food and drinks.

“We are thrilled to introduce exciting new additions to this year’s Carvedevent,” said Executive Director Juliann Rooke. “Visitors can look forward to seeing all kinds of carved pumpkins in the Fantasy Forest, a giant, inflatable pumpkin moon rising over our stately Oaks, pumpkin sea dragons swimming in the pond and other one-of-a-kind photo moments along the way. We couldn’t be happier to bring this beloved tradition back, bigger and better than before.”

Tickets go on sale to members Sept. 1, 2020 and the general public Oct. 1, 2020 with timed tickets required for everyone. Carved hours are 6:30pm-10pm, October 11-31, 2021. Members tickets are $25-$28, and non-members, $32-$35 and can be purchased at descansogardens.org.
