March 7, 14, 22 and April 25
Learn all about local summer camps and connect with camp staff. This year we have four camp fairs scheduled featured some of the best local camps in the area. Enjoy live entertainment, fun activities for kids, and the first 100 families that check in will receive a special gift bag!

Thomas Dambo Trolls at South Coast Botanic Garden
Starting March 1
Starting March 1, General Garden Admission will include Thomas Dambo’s TROLLS: A Field Study, a magical exhibit featuring 12 large Trolls crafted entirely from reclaimed wood. These giants will transform the garden’s 87 acres into a playful, storybook landscape, where guests can discover them tucked into immersive locations across the grounds.

Festival of the Kite
March 8
Let’s go fly a kite at the 52nd annual celebration of this thrilling festival! Head down to the Redondo Beach Pier and bring your kites. There are contests for the best kites in several categories, including highest flying, best handmade, and youngest flyer. The festival also features live music, food, and other fun family activities.
Together We Walk 5K and Fun Run
March 8
The second annual Together We Walk unites the South Bay community in strength and solidarity, empowering every individual and family impacted by cancer. Enjoy a scenic and fun 5K walk at Shoreline Park, Long Beach, California on Sunday March 8, 2026. What’s better than the stunning views of the waterfront as you make your way through the harbor, past the Queen Mary and other landmarks? The 5K walk is made for participants of all ages and fitness levels.

The 2026 Redondo Beach Police Department (RBPD) Public Safety Open House is a free, family-friendly event will feature fire trucks and department demonstrations, as well as live music, food, and fun activities for kids.
Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Celebrate the luck of the Irish with bagpipers, marching bands, and everything green parading down the route that runs along Pier Avenue in Downtown Hermosa Beach.

Village Runner St. Patrick’s Day 5K

Back by popular demand, the fun and festive St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run and Leprechaun Dash features races and activities for participants of all ages. Even kids ages 4 – 9 can participate in the Leprechaun Dash. And don’t miss the costume contest!

Join in the fun at the Los Angeles County Dragon Boat Club’s 5th Annual Marina del Rey Dragon Boat Festival at Burton Chace Park. Watch as 40 teams compete to be the fastest team on the water and then enjoy activities like arts and crafts, cultural performances, live entertainment and food trucks.

Springtime Easter Festival 2026 at Underwood Family Farms
March 21 – April 12
Springtime Easter Festival is as fun as the famous Underwood Harvest Festival but is usually less crowded. This annual event features live music, tractor-drawn wagon rides, farm animals, children’s activities, and more. Guests can also purchase fresh produce and flowers from the farm market.
